The Drone Chase

This was proposed to me during the construction updates. I was shooting the concrete contractors laying the concrete slabs on site. And not going to lie, it was blowing me away. By coincidence the plant manager was there and could see my eyes lighting up.

I learnt a lot more about concrete and we discussed the process of how in 6 minute intervals mixers would fill, travel and deposit, on a continuous cycle until the slab was complete. I was proposed an idea, to follow the mixer from plant to site.

So I did. I fancied the challenge of tracking a concrete mixer on the roads from A to B. The plan was to follow the mixer in a car as I piloted the drone. One take, one chance, no rehearsal, just do it.

It felt like an episode of police interceptors.
