Education Email Database

The brief was “we need to do more with schools”. Sure! After chatting with the Commercial and Sales teams it was clear that exposure was the biggest problem and the lowest hanging fruit.

An email campaign was the way forward to put Net World Sports in front of schools, now I just needed clean data… So I purchased it, working with the data supplier from the education sector, I now had direct access to 830,000 email addresses under legitimate interest. Once I’d segmented this data into decision makers, school type, job role and so on. I was left with 150,000 email addresses to start our campaign.

The most important KPI for us is lead generation and inundate our Sales Team with PO requests from the education sector. It worked! Following the tracking it had not only increased exposure but a healthy ROI from orders from schools. Strategy? 2 part email send around the schools calendar year budget release. Followed up with increased incentive over the P.E budget releases, things like giveaways and free products with orders over X value.
