All Systems go. “We want to make our own event”. Kit Shed, the brain child of our commercial team needed marketing. How do you market an event when it’s never happened before? Social media was the main “PR” for the event.

There were three main parts to this, pre, during and post event. Kit Shed’s inaugural year had nothing to go off, no content, no past experiences just a name, a location and a rough itinerary. Pre event we built hype and requested our guest speakers to make some statements as well as building the brand event material, organising the location and deliverables from the Hilton at St Georges Park. During the event I managed the live content team for social reps to post. Post event involved collating all content into 100’s of clips to help keep Kit Shed relevant in 12 months down time + build hype for the following year. As well as enjoying the social with the guests who joined us… Challenging the Kit Manager from Orlando FC to split the G with many pints of Guinness…
